Retainers
Once you’ve completed your orthodontic treatment, retainers are necessary to help maintain your beautiful, healthy smile. We offer fixed and removable retainers. Depending on your needs and preferences, we’ll help you pick the best retainer for your smile.
Because retainers are absolutely necessary to hold teeth in their correct alignment and to stabilize the results of your orthodontic treatment, your first set of retainers is included in your treatment fee.
Additionally, if you break or misplace your retainers or simply need a replacement, we’ll give you a discount if you bring in your 3D models that we print right in our office!
Modern Technology for Better Results
Orthodontic technology has come a long way since the days of bulky braces and goopy impressions. At Byrne Orthodontics, we’re committed to giving you the latest options for your smile to improve your experience and create results you’ll love for life.
3D Printer
We have our own 3D Printer in-house for fabricating models, from which we can make appliances and retainers. You’ll get a copy of your models and retainers made from these models following their orthodontic treatment.
3D iTero Digital Scanner
No more messy impressions! Using our 3D iTero scanner, we take the most accurate digital impression of your teeth and gums.
These scans can be used to print models in our own office laboratory or sent to Align Technology to design your custom Invisalign prescription and aligners.
Digital X-Rays & CBCT Scanner
The advantages of digital radiography over conventional radiography include immediate processing and viewing, the ability to enhance and digitally transfer images, and decreased radiation.
If you’d benefit from 3D diagnostic imaging, we actually have a CBCT scanner here in the office.
