What to Expect from Day One
Your free consultation is the first step toward a beautiful, healthy new smile. Here’s what you can expect from Day One of your smile journey:
1. Getting to Know You
This appointment gives you the chance to visit our office and meet our team of smile experts. It also gives us the chance to meet you, understand your needs, and learn all about the goals you have for your new smile.
2. Analyzing Your Smile
After you’ve met the team and feel comfortable, we encourage you to express any concerns and ask all the questions you may have.
To completely understand your orthodontic needs, we’ll review your dental records and medical history. Then, we’ll take a few records of our own. We’ll photograph your face and teeth and take panoramic (meaning ear-to-ear) and cephalometric (ear-to-jaw, or side view) X-rays of your mouth.
3. Creating Your Custom Treatment Plan
After assessing your records and discussing your concerns and goals, Dr. Byrne or Dr. Pinckney will begin creating a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs by addressing the following questions:
- Am I a candidate for orthodontic treatment?
- Should I begin treatment now, or should treatment be delayed until a further date?
- What type of treatment is required to fix my smile?
- Approximately how long will treatment take?
- How much will treatment cost?
- What payment options are available?
4. Beginning Treatment
At Byrne Orthodontics, we value your time and know that you want to make the most of every appointment at our offices in Saratoga Springs or Greenwich.
Dr. Byrne and Dr. Pinckney want you to feel confident that you’re getting the best possible care. Once you feel like we’ve answered all your questions and you’re comfortable with your treatment plan, we’ll schedule an appointment to get your braces on.
And if you’ve chosen Invisalign as your path to a straighter, healthier smile, we can scan your mouth the same day as your first consultation and have our treatment coordinator send in your order so you can begin your treatment as soon as possible.
